JOB DESCRIPTION
A PHP Developer is responsible for creating and implementing an array of Web-based products using PHP, MySQL, Ajax, and JavaScript. You develop back-end components, connect the application with other web services, and assist front-end developers by ensuring their work integrates with the application.
This is a high-level job where candidates are usually expected to have a third-level degree. There is an increasing number of companies that allow PHP developers to work from home. In general, hiring companies want candidates with excellent problem-solving skills and a genuine love of overcoming technical challenges. They also want recruits with experience in caching solutions and data analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.
- Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules required.
- Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.
- Troubleshooting application and code issues.Integrating data storage solutions.
- Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.
- Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.
- Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.
